Andy Davis (Andrew Nathan Davis, Jr.) was born on July 28, 1927 in Washington, District Of Columbia. After going to high school at McKinley Tech (Washington, DC), Davis attended George Washington University. Davis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1952 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 1 year career.
