Andruw Jones.........Braves should trade!

Well, I am a huge Atlanta Braves Fan and I think it is time to dump Andruw Jones before he hits the free agency market! I think the Braves should trade for a young player who has shown great potential and who could be a future star! I think they should try to trade for Carl Crawford who has great speed and a good bat. I am a little dissapointed in his low batting average.

In addition, the Braves are very much in contention in a very flawed NL East. WHy trade your starting CF, who is in his contract year? And for what in return?

And even if he could be traded, the D-Rays wouldn't trade Crawford for a half a season of Andruw Jones.

There's a big reason you can (although 10-5 rights allow him to control where he goes)...he's not going to be a brave next year unless they pony the cash up...why not move him? The braves' ship is sinking...time to cut losses and get something...can't the yankees use him or something?

To get around the 10/5 thing, they can just remind him that New York was once New Amsterdam and that the Dutch being colonizers of Curacao. Patriotism should allow the Yankees some leverage. That and some cheeseburgers. God he's gotten fat.

If the Braves wanted to do anything with Andruw Jones, they would've traded way earlier than now. He hasn't been that great since..well..the beginning of the season. He ain't going anywhere, unless you wanna trade him for a bat boy or something...

Jones should have known to prepare himself for free agent year by being in top shape. Guess he figured Scott Boras would be able to get him a great contract no matter how lousy he played this year and he may be right.
