HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Henry Sibley High School (Minn.) • high school coach was Tom Orth • three-star recruit ranked as the 30th-best running back in the nation and the third-best player in Minnesota by Rivals • three-star athlete ranked the 86th-best running back in the nation and the fourth-best player in Minnesota by Scout • selected to the SuperPrep All-America Team, ranked as the 22nd-best running back in the nation and named to the SuperPrep Midwest Team as the 27th-best player • named to the PrepStar Midwest Region Team • the 36th-ranked running back in the nation by ESPN.com • named to recruiting expert Tom Lemming’s All-Midwest Team • received honorable mention all-state recognition by the Associated Press in 2006 • played in the 2007 East Meets West All-American Game in Orlando, Fla • tallied 1,500 yards rushing his senior season and 1,300 yards his junior season • carried the ball 26 times for 336 yards and five touchdowns in a playoff game last season against Minneapolis Southwest, including three scoring runs of over 50 yards • named all-conference as a junior and also received honorable mention all-state recognition by the Pioneer Press • also a standout on the track team.
