Andra Franklin (Andra Bernard Franklin) was born on August 22, 1959 in Anniston, Alabama. After going to high school at Anniston (AL), Franklin attended the University of Nebraska. Franklin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Miami Dolphins for his entire 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1983 was Andra Franklin's best year, as he ran for 746 yards and ran in 8 TDs.
