An Idea for ESPN

This is not a post bashing ESPN, for those who jump to conclusions too quickly. I'm just saying, that ESPN claims itself "Worldwide Leader in Sports". It was true a while back, but now, poker, NASCAR, and fishing have overtaken much of the programming. Whatever happened to airing sports outside the USA? Sports like:
Rugby. Hey, the Rugby World Cup is on. It's an exciting sport, and England vs. France should be wonderful. Why should we be constricted to American football?
Soccer. Okay, they do air soccer, but air a little more of it, without the announcers that never talk about the game. How about the Premier League, or something else along the line. I love the fact that they air UEFA CL.
Cricket. Again, it's a popular sport, it's not that hard to grasp.
Table tennis. That sport is wicked fast.
I understand that those aren't popular sports in the US, and it would be tough to air full games on the channel. So how about this idea? Come up with a non-digital cable channel called ESPN Global. It airs highlights and games throughout the rest of the world like rugby and cricket. It would show the rest of the earth that we are not Americacentric when it comes to the term "Worldwide Leader in Sports".
Just take it into consideration, there are many sports in this place that we live in that are being played and watched more often than basketball or baseball. I don't understand why we shouldn't have a channel to learn about other sports that we may not know.
So whaddaya think? Is it a good idea to come up with a channel or show about other sports in the world?
