Amos Marsh (Amos Marsh) was born on May 7, 1939 in Williams, Arizona. After going to high school at Wallowa (OR), Marsh attended Oregon State University. Marsh made his professional debut in the NFL in 1961 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1962 was Amos Marsh's best year, as he ran for 802 yards, ran in 6 TDs, hauled in 35 receptions, had 725 kick return yards and ran back a kickoff for a touchdown.
