Amos Fowler (Amos Emanuel Fowler) was born on February 11, 1956 in Pensacola, Florida. After going to high school at Fort Walton Beach (FL), Fowler attended the University of Southern Mississippi. Fowler made his professional debut in the NFL in 1978 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1978 was Amos Fowler's best year.
