Amos Cross (Amos C. Cross) was born on 1861 in Austria-Hungary. He made his Major League debut on April 22, 1885 for the Louisville Colonels. In 1885, his rookie year, he hit .285 with 0 home runs and 14 RBI. Cross played for the Louisville Colonels for his entire 3 year career.
