Amby Rascher (Ambrose Henry Rascher) was born on November 3, 1908 in Cedar Lake, Indiana. After going to high school at Cedar Lake (IN), Rascher attended Indiana University and St. Viator College. Rascher made his professional debut in the NFL in 1932 with the Portsmouth Spartans. He played for the Portsmouth Spartans for his entire 1 year career.
