Born on January 19, 1974 in Higuey, La Altagracia (Dominican Republic), Amaury Telemaco (Amaury (Regalado) Telemaco) played for the Chicago Cubs, Arizona Diamondbacks and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 9 year career. Telemaco broke into the bigs on May 16, 1996 with the Chicago Cubs, and put up a 5.46 ERA in 97.1 innings pitched in 1996, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Amaury Telemaco's best season was 1998, when he posted a 3.93 ERA and struck out 78 batters.
