Amaechi To Lead Gay Pride Parade; No Word On Whether Tim Hardaway Will Attend

You may remember John Amaechi. The former NBA player who announced to the world that he is gay a couple months ago. Well, he is going to be the grand marshal for the gay pride parade in Salt Lake City this weekend. In fact, he will also be leading gay pride parades in Los Angeles and Chicago. Maybe Amaechi's publicity and general acceptance following coming out will convince other gay NBA players to come out as well... on second thought, probably not.

Grateful Amaechi to lead gay pride parade in Salt Lake City

How so? Can't a straight guy find it lame to objectify non-hot women?
