Alvin Garrett (Alvin Lynn Garrett) was born on October 1, 1956 in Mineral Wells, Texas. After going to high school at Mineral Wells (TX), Garrett attended Angelo State University. Garrett made his professional debut in the NFL in 1980 with the New York Giants. He played for the Washington Redskins and New York Giants over the course of his 5 year career.
