Alva Liles (Alva Edison Liles) was born on March 6, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Sacramento (CA), Liles attended Boise State University. Liles made his professional debut in the NFL in 1980 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Oakland Raiders for his entire 1 year career.
