Alta Cohen (Alta Albert Cohen) was born on December 25, 1908 in New York, New York. He made his Major League debut on April 15, 1931 for the Brooklyn Robins. Cohen played for the Brooklyn Robins, Brooklyn Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 3 year career.
