Born on November 18, 1970 in Jamaica, New York, Allen Watson (Allen Kenneth Watson) played for the St. Louis Cardinals, San Francisco Giants, Anaheim Angels, Seattle Mariners, New York Mets and New York Yankees over the course of his 8 year career. Watson broke into the bigs on July 8, 1993 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 4.60 ERA in 86 innings pitched in 1993, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Allen Watson's best season was 1997, when he posted a 4.93 ERA, won 12 games and struck out 141 batters.
