Allan Ellis (Alan Delon Ellis) was born on August 19, 1951 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at Centennial (Compton, CA), Ellis attended the University of California - Los Angeles. Ellis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1976 was Allan Ellis's best year, as he picked off 6 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
