This team is not great folks so don't laugh too hard.
C: Ron Hassey - Tucson
Has the distinction of being the only man in MLB history to catch two perfect games.
1B: Shea Hillenbrand - Mesa
Has the extraordinary ability to piss off Canadian managers. Oh, and he does o.k. at hitting.
2B: Solly Hemus - Phoenix
Is one of only 5 men to play and manage at the same time, which works out for me since he is the only manager born in Arizona.
3B: Jack Howell - Tucson
Confirmed suspicion that the ball was juiced in 1987 when he hit a broken bat home run in Yankee Stadium.
SS: J.J. Hardy - Tucson
The young Brew Crew short stop. He shows much promise.
LF: Andre Ethier - Phoenix
The young Dodger LF who shows incredible potential.
CF: Brian Anderson - Tucson
The young White Sox OF who has great defense and developing offense.
RF: Billy Hatcher - Williams
One of the speediest guys to ever steal a base.
SP: John Denny - Prescott
In 1976, he led the league in ERA with his great hook.
SP: Gary Gentry - Phoenix
Was a good rookie starter for the "Miracle Mets" and combined with Nolan Ryan to shut out Baltimore.
SP: Alex Kellner - Tucson
Had a great curve which helped him to a 20-12 rookie year.
SP: Phil Ortega - Gilbert
Had his best year in 1967 when he went 10-10 with a 3.03 ERA.
SP: Jason Stanford - Tucson
Is in the Indian farm system but shows promise with his 3.60 ERA in 50 Innings.
CP: Bob Howry - Phoenix
Well, he has the most saves of a native Zony with a grand total of 55.
Manager: Solly Hemus (yes he's the second baseman but he is the only manager from Arizona)
If you wish to make a change I understand that because, really at the end of it I was tired and bored.
