Born on March 15, 1957 in Los Angeles, California, Alfredo Martinez (Alfredo Martinez) played for the California Angels for his entire 2 year career. Martinez broke into the bigs on April 20, 1980 with the California Angels, and put up a 4.52 ERA in 149.1 innings pitched in 1980, his rookie year.
