Alf Cobb

Alf Cobb (Alfred Russell Cobb) was born on June 7, 1893 in Hardwick, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Waltham (MA), Cobb attended Syracuse University. Cobb made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Akron Pros. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Akron Pros the entire time. Cobb also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Cleveland Bulldogs the entire time.
