Alex Wojciechowicz (Alexander Francis Wojciechowicz) was born on August 12, 1915 in South River, New Jersey. After going to high school at South River (NJ), Wojciechowicz attended Fordham University. Wojciechowicz made his professional debut in the NFL in 1938 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that 1944 was Alex Wojciechowicz's best year, as he picked off 7 passes.
