Alex Van Pelt (Gregory Alexander Van Pelt) was born on May 1, 1970 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Grafton (WV) and Winston Churchill (San Antonio, TX), Van Pelt attended the University of Pittsburgh. Van Pelt made his professional debut in the NFL in 1995 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills for his entire 9 year career.
Most people believe that 2001 was Alex Van Pelt's best year, as he threw for 2056 yards and tossed 12 TDs.
