Alex Urban (Alexander W. Urban) was born on July 16, 1917 in Bessemer, Pennsylvania. Urban attended the University of South Carolina. Urban made his professional debut in the NFL in 1941 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1941 was Alex Urban's best year.
