Alex Rado (Alexander Rado) was born on July 19, 1911 in Dayton, Ohio. After going to high school at Roosevelt (Dayton, OH), Rado attended West Virginia University Institute of Technology. Rado made his professional debut in the NFL in 1934 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career.
