Born on March 7, 1877 in Greensboro, Pennsylvania, Alex Pearson (Alexander Franklin Pearson) played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Cleveland Naps over the course of his 2 year career. Pearson broke into the bigs on August 1, 1902 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 3.95 ERA in 82 innings pitched in 1902, his rookie year.
