Alex Atty (Alexander George Atty) was born on December 8, 1916 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Johnstown (PA), Atty attended West Virginia University. Atty made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Cleveland Rams. He played for the Cleveland Rams for his entire 1 year career.
