Alcides Catanho (Alcides Catanho) was born on January 20, 1972 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. After going to high school at Elizabeth (NJ), Catanho attended Rutgers State University of New Jersey. Catanho made his professional debut in the NFL in 1995 with the New England Patriots. He played for the Washington Redskins and New England Patriots over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1995 was Alcides Catanho's best year.
