Heads into the spring as the backup at flanker to Ray Small ... fourth-year receiver who played in eight games last year after two years of paying his dues with the scout team ... from the same high school and hometown as former Buckeye standout Santonio Holmes and has many of the same attributes, including sure hands and outstanding speed ... like Holmes, who was a first-round draft pick in the 2006 NFL draft, is a physical player who won't hesitate to go across the middle and catch the ball in traffic ... also will help out with the various special teams units.

2006 (Sophomore): Played in eight games as a sophomore ... had two catches for 11 yards ... was Ohio State's scout team offensive player of the week in helping the team ready for a 28-6 victory vs. Penn State ... made a 12-yard catch in the season opener vs. Northern Illinois and added a second catch vs. Indiana ... played mostly on special teams in his other five games (Texas, Cincinnati, Bowling Green, Minnesota and Northwestern).

2005 (Freshman): Played in seven games and had a pair of receptions for 28 yards ... first career catch was a 16-yard pass from Justin Zwick in the fourth quarter of the Illinois game ... hauled in a 12-yard reception from Zwick on third-and-nine on the last play of the third quarter against Northwestern, in a 10-play scoring drive that resulted in a 37-yard Josh Huston field goal.

2004 (Redshirt): Did not see any game action and was redshirted.

High School: First-team all-state as a senior when he hauled in 58 receptions for 1,031 yards and a state-best 17 touchdowns, helping Glades Central to the state semi-finals ... caught 18 passes for 440 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior ... ran track and was a member of the state champion 4x400 relay team as a sophomore ... played three years of basketball and Central finished second in the state his sophomore year and advanced to the regional finals the next two years.
