Alan Strange (Alan Cochrane Strange) was born on November 7, 1906 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1934 for the St. Louis Browns. In 1934, his rookie year, he hit .233 with 1 home run and 45 RBI. Strange played for the St. Louis Browns and Washington Senators over the course of his 5 year career.
