Born on October 18, 1966 in Lakeland, Florida, Alan Mills (Alan Bernard Mills) played for the New York Yankees, Baltimore Orioles and Los Angeles Dodgers over the course of his 12 year career. Mills broke into the bigs on April 14, 1990 with the New York Yankees, and put up a 2.61 ERA in 103.1 innings pitched in 1992, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Alan Mills's best season was 1992, when he posted a 2.61 ERA, won 10 games and struck out 60 batters.
