Alan Herline (Alan Joseph Herline) was born on September 16, 1964 in Monroe, Louisiana. After going to high school at Marist (Atlanta, GA), Herline attended Vanderbilt Universtiy. Herline made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots for his entire 1 year career.
