Alan Foster

Born on December 8, 1946 in Pasadena, California, Alan Foster (Alan Benton Foster) played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Cleveland Indians, California Angels, St. Louis Cardinals and San Diego Padres over the course of his 10 year career. Foster broke into the bigs on April 25, 1967 with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and put up a 4.38 ERA in 102.2 innings pitched in 1969, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Alan Foster's best season was 1973, when he posted a 3.14 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 106 batters.
