Alan Faneca (Alan Joseph Faneca, Jr.) was born on December 7, 1976 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After going to high school at John Curtis (New Orleans, LA) and Lamar (Houston, TX), Faneca attended Louisiana State University. Faneca made his professional debut in the NFL in 1998 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 9 year career.
