[edit] Biography
The elder brother of Mario Lemieux began his NHL career with the St. Louis Blues in 1982-83. With the Blues Alain played on a line with Perry Turnbull and Wayne Babych. Eventually the Pittsburgh Penguins signed Alain as a free agent. However he only played one game with the Penguins. Ironically he was the only Lemieux in the lineup that evening as Mario was sidelined with bronchitis.
