Al Todd

Al Todd (Alfred Chester Todd) was born on January 7, 1902 in Troy, New York. He made his Major League debut on April 25, 1932 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1933, his rookie year, he hit .206 with 0 home runs and 10 RBI. Todd played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, Brooklyn Dodgers and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 10 year career.
Most people believe that Al Todd's best season was 1937, when he hit for a .307 average and knocked in 86 runs.
