Al Simpson (Allen Ralph Simpson) was born on July 27, 1951 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Westinghouse (Pittsburgh, PA) and Wilkingsburg (Pittsburgh, PA), Simpson attended Colorado State University and Mid-Plains Community College. Simpson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 2 year career.
