Al Schellhase (Albert Herman Schellhase) was born on September 13, 1864 in Evansville, Indiana. He made his Major League debut on May 7, 1890 for the Boston Beaneaters. Schellhase played for the Boston Beaneaters and Louisville Colonels over the course of his 2 year career.
