Al Santorini

Born on May 19, 1948 in Irvington, New Jersey, Al Santorini (Alan Joel Santorini) played for the Atlanta Braves, San Diego Padres and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 6 year career. Santorini broke into the bigs on September 10, 1968 with the Atlanta Braves, and put up a 3.95 ERA in 184.2 innings pitched in 1969, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Al Santorini's best season was 1969, when he posted a 3.95 ERA and struck out 111 batters.
