Al Romine

Al Romine (Alton Romine) was born on March 10, 1932 in Florence, Alabama. After going to high school at Lauderdale County (Rogersville, AL), Romine attended the University of North Alabama. Romine made his professional debut in the NFL in 1955 with the Green Bay Packers. He played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Green Bay Packers the entire time. Romine also played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Boston Patriots and Denver Broncos over the course of his 2 year AFL career.
Most people believe that 1960 was Al Romine's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
