Al Riopel (Albert Didace Riopel) was born on October 11, 1900 in Worcester, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Tech (Worcester, MA), Riopel attended Holy Cross College. Riopel made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Providence Steam Roller. He played for the Providence Steam Roller for his entire 1 year career.
