Born on November 27, 1941 in San Francisco, California, Al Raffo (Albert Martin Raffo) played for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire 1 year career. Raffo broke into the bigs on April 29, 1969 with the Philadelphia Phillies, and put up a 4.11 ERA in 72.1 innings pitched in 1969, his rookie year.
