Born on August 10, 1965 in Inglewood, California, Al Osuna (Alfonso Osuna) played for the Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres over the course of his 6 year career. Osuna broke into the bigs on September 2, 1990 with the Houston Astros, and put up a 3.42 ERA in 81.2 innings pitched in 1991, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Al Osuna's best season was 1991, when he posted a 3.42 ERA, notched 12 saves and struck out 68 batters.
