Al Nixon (Albert Richard Nixon) was born on April 11, 1886 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He made his Major League debut on September 4, 1915 for the Brooklyn Superbas. In 1921, his rookie year, he hit .239 with 1 home run and 9 RBI. Nixon played for the Brooklyn Superbas, Brooklyn Robins, Boston Braves and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Al Nixon's best season was 1926, when he hit for a .293 average.
