Al Myers (James Albert Myers) was born on October 22, 1863 in Danville, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on September 27, 1884 for the Milwaukee Grays. In 1885, his rookie year, he hit .204 with 1 home run and 28 RBI. Myers played for the Milwaukee Grays, Philadelphia Phillies, Kansas City Cowboys and Washington Senators over the course of his 8 year career.
Most people believe that Al Myers's best season was 1890, when he stole 44 bases, hit for a .277 average and knocked in 81 runs.
