Al Moran (Richard Alan Moran) was born on December 5, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan. He made his Major League debut on April 9, 1963 for the New York Mets. In 1963, his rookie year, he hit .193 with 1 home run and 23 RBI. Moran played for the New York Mets for his entire 2 year career.
