Hartford Wolf Pack goaltender and top New York Rangers prospect Al Montoya is featured as the first minor league hockey player to be honored by MLN Sports in their ongoing series of sports illustrations by Tom's River, New Jersey artist Ken Jones.
"Al is the top goaltending prospect in the American Hockey League," said MLN senior editor Brian Ross, "and has been a top prospect for the last few years. We honor him as the first minor league hockey player to be featured in one of our retro sports illustrations today, and look forward to showcasing many more."
To see the full-sized illustration, go to the hockey section at MLN Sports Zone, the magazine of minor league sports news.

"I'm sorry to hear about whomever is having the problem. Good to see that you're nice to someone, because I wouldn't have pegged you for it with the commentary that screams future hours in mandated anger management. Best of luck in your crusades, Don Quixote. Sincerely, The Windmill"
"You didn't mention their name, one. Two myself and my staff do several hundred hours a year building other sites like this, and we have well over 150 logged building out the minor league side. I see Niteowl down here... If you know this person, cool. Where were you when I was raising money for Mike Coolbaugh's widow? (The coach that got whacked in the neck with the baseball.) Don't see your name actively in that thread. Save me your piety."
