Al Matuza

Al Matuza (Albert C. Matuza) was born on September 11, 1918 in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Shenandoah (PA) and Staunton Military Academy, Matuza attended Georgetown University. Matuza made his professional debut in the NFL in 1941 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1941 was Al Matuza's best year.
