Born on February 13, 1930 in Los Angeles, California, Al Grunwald (Alfred Henry Grunwald) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Kansas City Athletics over the course of his 2 year career. Grunwald broke into the bigs on April 18, 1955 with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
