Al Espie (David Allen Espie) in Kuttawa, Kentucky. After going to high school at Greenbrier Military Academy (Lewisburg, WV) and Male (Louisville, KY), Espie attended none. Espie made his professional debut in the NFL in 1923 with the Louisville Brecks. He played for the Louisville Brecks for his entire 1 year career.
