Al Endress (Albert James Endress) was born on February 18, 1929 in Oakland, California. After going to high school at St. Elizabeth (Oakland, CA), Endress attended San Francisco State University and St. Mary's College of California. Endress made his professional debut in the NFL in 1952 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 1 year career.
