Al Dorow (Albert Richard Dorow) was born on November 15, 1929 in Imlay City, Michigan. After going to high school at Imlay City (MI), Dorow attended Michigan State University. Dorow made his professional debut in the NFL in 1954 with the Washington Redskins. He played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 4 year NFL career.Dorow also played in the AFL for 3 years, playing for the New York Titans and Buffalo Bills over the course of his 3 year AFL career.
Most people believe that 1960 was Al Dorow's best year, as he threw for 2748 yards, tossed 26 TDs and ran in 7 TDs.
